In accordance with GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data from the Bailar platform.
🗑️What do we delete?
Upon a deletion request, we permanently erase:
- Your profile (name, photo, bio, city, level)
- Your posts, videos and shared media
- Your messages and conversations
- Your activity history (likes, comments, follows)
- Your authentication data (email, hashed password)
- Your payment information (Stripe token — Stripe deletes data on their end)
- All data linked to your account in our database
📧How to submit a request?
You can delete your account in two ways:
Method 1 — From the appGo to Profile → Settings → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Method 2 — By emailSend an email to privacy@bailar.me with the subject "Account Deletion" and your account email. We process requests within 72 hours.
⏱️Processing times
Once your request is confirmed:
- Account deletion: immediate via app, within 72h by email
- Main database deletion: within 30 days
- Backups and logs deletion: within 90 days
- Some data may be retained if required by law (e.g. tax records)
🔗Facebook or Google login
If you signed in via Facebook or Google, deleting your Bailar account does not automatically revoke OAuth access. To revoke it:
- Facebook: Settings → Apps and websites → Bailar → Remove
- Google: myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps → Bailar → Remove access
